Karen is Women in Focus’s resident Irish physiotherapist who has over 10 years working in private physiotherapy practice. Karen and her husband moved from Ireland to combine their love for travel and work. Karen is very happy to call Australia ‘home’ and when she isn’t being a Physio, enjoys spending time with friends at the beach or exploring beyond the beautiful Sydney.

While the early years of her career were spent gaining experience in complex musculoskeletal conditions, she quickly realised her passion was to increase awareness and education in women through all life stages. Karen has completed post graduate courses in the field and in her pursuit of excellence, is currently completing a Masters of Continence and Women’s Health. Karen has a special interest in persistent pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse management. Karen is a qualified mat and equipment Pilates practitioner, focusing on optimal movement patterns to help assist clients achieve their goals.
